13th Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival

The infamous Ghirardelli Square chocolate festival begins tomorrow.

Not only is this festival sweet for your tooth but sweet for the community, too. Ghirardelli Square Chocolate coordinated with Project Open Hand this year to meet the nutritional needs of the community. It’s good to know you are helping the community while indulging on rich treats.

  • Cost Plus Wine & Chocolate Bar
  • Earthquake Ice Cream Sundae Eating Contest at 2:00 on Saturday.
    Children's Ice Cream Eating Contests at 2:30 on Saturday & Sunday.
    Contestants are chosen at the stage by the emcee.
  • Children's Entertainment by Peekadoodle Kidsclub and Kindervision
  • Chocolate Menu at Bar Marché
  • Chef Demonstrations inside Cellar360's classroom:
    SATURDAY
    1:00 & 4:00: Be sure not to miss exciting chef demonstrations by Master Chocolatier, Ann Czaja, who will be creating delectable treats, and offering fun and delicious chocolate-making and entertaining ideas. Decadent samples will be provided to audience members at these Ghirardelli Chocolate presentations.

    2:00: Come join Ghirardelli Chocolate as VP of Research and Development, Steve Genzoli presents Chocolate School, an introduction to the world of chocolate, From Bean to Chocolate Bar. Defining the Ghirardelli Difference(TM), Chocolate School will enlighten you to the Ghirardelli manufacturing process and the highest quality care that makes Ghirardelli so unique.

    3:00: Meet Kara Lind, owner and creator of Kara's Cupcakes. Kara will divulge her cupcake making and decorating secrets!

    5:00: Wine & Chocolate Pairing Seminar
