The picture says it all. Some of the "side by side comparisons" of chocolate fountains being made on the internet are so obvious and stilted that they are laughable.

It would be interesting to see what kind of decisions a consumer would make if the same amount of effort that went into a deceptive and negative marketing campaign was spent just doing a good job of representing their own product.
I get the feeling, after running across some of these "comparisons", that they think the average consumer is gullible if not foolish or that they lack faith that their own offerings can stand on their own merits.
There are online videos purporting to show the measured noise level differences between two makes of chocolate fountain. A claim is made of a few decibels difference in noise that the equipment makes. Aside from the obvious notion that most people could not discern a 2 decibel difference, the point in the video is assume the viewer won't notice that the audio for the clip "test" of the competitors fountain is done with both fountains running. It's not hard to guess the microphone for the video taping was concealed either under or near the "noisy fountain". When the "competitors" fountain is switched on (over the noise of the "quiet fountain") you hear a loud "CLACK". That "CLACK" is the noise of a simple on off switch. Hmmmm.
On the subject of chocolate fountain comparisons or comparing chocolate fountains I want to be sure I have done a thorough job of answering my customers questions and accurately portraying our product. I will leave the comparisons to you, the consumer. Make your judgements based on the product. Not the negative noise of a competitors bogus comparisons.
