The Rise of Hot Sipping Chocolate

hot chocolateAs the popularity of dark and imported chocolate rise, so does the form of consumption. The new buzz is hot chocolate, but not your ordinary "hot cocoa", I'm talking about the use of the finest, richest chocolate being used for drinking.

From what started as a simple chocolate beverage to enjoy during the cold months, is finally turning into a drink that can be enjoyed during anytime of the year. People are shying away from the simple sweet, to the more bitter, but richer chocolate, and in return have made it a part of drinking. The most popular method of making this drink is by mixing a shot of premium chocolate with milk. There are also many global methods to making hot chocolate, which include using fruit, chilies, liquor, spices, and even something simple as peanut butter, which many of the places that make this "gourmet" hot chocolate, use these ingredients for a world flavor appeal. For adults, there is a future plan for hot chocolate to premiere in upscale bars. With the boon of chocolate on the rise, you can expect this style of sipping chocolate to be in full effect by next year.
