From a quick look on MapMuse, it may seem like any other online map locater, but with a quick search with categories and a powerful map, you will see how quick and efficient it really is. If that isn't enough to convince you, they also add categories and suggested sites weekly. In fact, they just added the category Chocolates and Confectionery to the growing list.

When I saw saw that they added Chocolates and Confectionery, I decided to click on it and see what this website could really do. First they give you a map covering the US with a bunch of dots picking out the locations of the businesses under the category you picked. You can click on any location of your desire and it will zoom in 200 miles, which is good general coverage. I noticed that I could zoom in to a maximum of 0.5 miles, all the way out to 2000 miles. The map is so detailed that you could use it as a travel map.

When you find a business on your map, you can roll your mouse over it for their address. When you click on it, it will give you the full details of the location, directions to get there, and weather as well. That's plenty of info for any business, and it's way more than you can get out of a phone book.
