Dark chocolate has been known to improve blood flow and prevent excess clotting of the blood, but recently it has been noted that it can increase brain function. Apparently, a study on mice that has consumed the flavonol in dark chocolate, was able to solve and go through a maze quicker than the mice without the consumption of the flavonol. Also, a test has shown that people who eat a little bit of dark chocolate daily has been reported to have lower blood pressure and a reduced risk of death. While chocolate can't be considered a health food, it can defiantly improve your health in small doses.
