What do your customers expect when renting a chocolate fountain?

Do they expect chocolate or “dipping compound” flowing through their $250 fountain? Do they expect a cheap imitation flavored compound or the high quality of real chocolate that is being fed to hundreds of guests?

[More:]

Caliber vs. Crass. Chocolate is separated into two clear categories: real chocolate and compound chocolate. Chocolate is known internationally throughout the world as a gourmet ingredient. People bake it in desserts, sell it in markets, and melt it in expensive chocolate fountains. Customers indulge in chocolate by the way it melts on the tongue, fills up a room with sweet aroma, and its distinct high quality taste. Dipping compound may be inexpensive but doesn’t compare to chocolate in any shape or form. It is an inexpensive alternative to chocolate which may seem like a good thing, but is it worth it? It’s flavored to taste like chocolate. It may look like chocolate but doesn’t melt like chocolate, smell like chocolate, or feel like chocolate. The fact that it is a cheap imitation of chocolate does not put it into the same category. It would be like driving your child’s battery powered plastic car over a luxury Mercedes-Benz.

Quality, quality, quality. When renting a fountain, it is usually for special occasions such as weddings, graduations, baby showers, banquets and any other occasion in mind. So why would you want to serve a dipping compound in a fountain meant for chocolate? Chocolate fountains are rented for the experience. If you want your party to be memorable, buy a memorable product to run in your fountain.
